When we say our chicken is 100% antibiotic free, we mean that they do not receive any antibiotics at any stage in their lifecycle. And of course they are free from added hormones or steroids.
So Why Antibiotic Free? Quite frankly, its the right thing to do.
The overuse of antibiotics in food producing animals has been associated to an increase in antibiotic resistance around the world (WHO, 2015).
